It is great to see this collaboration in action! 👏

As part of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) – German Research Foundation, we are very pleased to support and enable such international research exchanges. The one-month stay at the University of Zagreb highlights how much we benefit from the knowledge and lab equipment of each other!

It’s especially rewarding to see how this work builds on previous joint efforts in Hannover (Institute of Technical Chemistry (TCI)) and continues to grow through the Mercator Fellowship of Prof. Marina Cvjetko Bubalo.

“I’m profoundly grateful for the opportunity to spend my March at the University of Zagreb in the lab of Prof. Marina Cvjetko Bubalo (Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology). During this one-month research stay, I had the chance to deeply focus on solubility determination using both COSMO-based modeling and experimental approaches, building on the experiments that Marina and I initiated during her previous six-month stay in Hannover. 🧪

A big thank you to Marina and the entire team for their support, valuable discussions, and the welcoming atmosphere. I truly enjoyed to get a glimpse of Croatia in spring (highly recommended) and it was really a pleasure to meet you all! 🌸 “

A special thank you goes also to the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) – German Research Foundation project DESMOL2PRO, which made this collaboration with Prof. Bubalo, contributing as a Mercator Fellow, possible.🙏
