desmol2pro

From August 11th-12th, we gathered at the University of Stuttgart for an intensive EnzymeML training session. With expert guidance from Max Haeussler, Jan Range, and Sascha Michael Gabriel we explored how to identify and adapt suitable bioinformatic analysis methods for our individual research projects. 🧑‍💻

Tools like ChromHandler, MTPHandler, and Catalax proved to be especially valuable, helping us, among other things, to directly generate calibration curves from raw chromatographic and spectrophotometric data as well as to visualize and model kinetics of biocatalytic reactions. 📊🧑‍🔬

At the heart of it all: EnzymeML, a standardized data format for catalytic reaction data. Using EnzymeML helps us – researchers of DESMOL2PRO – to store, share, and enrich experimental data with detailed metadata in a consistent and interoperable format.
A big thanks goes to Max Häusler, Jan Range, Sascha Gabriel and Prof. Juergen Pleiss for the amazing and helpful workshop and the great organization! 🤝
